Business Unit Manager

Reporting to the CEO, the BU Manager has a general supervision role for the site for which he/she is responsible (order, cleanliness, planning, construction site vehicles, etc.).

He/she is the point of reference for his/her BU for all workers. This role is complementary to another role in the company, that of Project Manager.

BU Manager Missions

o Overall monitoring of workshop production and all ongoing projects
o Personnel management (absences, schedules, breaks, etc.)
o Coordination of the BU's back office services (administrative, purchasing, design office)
o Monitoring of safety rules according to VCA (annual audit, ATB monitoring, toolbox meeting, etc.)
o Planning and distribution of BU projects according to customer requests (schedule)
o Fleet management (utilities)
o Definition of staffing needs and participation in recruitment interviews
o Monitoring of the BU's workload (organization & planning)

Project Manager Missions

> Project management:
o Preparation of construction sites in collaboration with the sales department
o Organization of construction sites in collaboration with the construction site manager
o Monitoring of purchases in collaboration with the buyer
o Guarantee of safety on construction sites
o Monitoring of the engineering of all projects assigned
o Preparation of project files to be distributed to the teams of field
o Participation in certain meetings at clients' premises, defense of the company's interests (compliance with specifications, schedule, budget)
o Participation in weekly internal planning meetings and definition of personnel needs
o Monitoring and knowledge of the progress of construction sites
o Monitoring/compilation of technical files
o Identification of possible supplements on projects and follow up with the client (supplement/new order/management?)
> Financial:
o Management and monitoring of purchases and construction site budgets
o Establishment of the financial result at the end of the construction site
o Regular communication with the sales department
o Monthly establishment of invoices for each project
o Control of supplier invoices

Training/experience/skills

o Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
o 5 years of minimum experience in the industrial sector or comparable sectors
o Proven experience in team management and project management
o Notions in English/Dutch are an asset
o Mastery of the Office suite
o Mastery of Odoo and/or Traxxeo is an asset
